M’arte 2015 is a contemporary art project, an experience in creative participation within ancient villages of Tuscany. Through an artist-in-residency program, artists, critics and professionals shared space and time, working towards several public exhibitions, workshops and site-specific installations and also toward a long-term goal of an inner transformation of the current art system. During my time at M'arte I created several cinemagraphs, a particular kind of animated GIF. Some capture documentary moments of the residency and many are designed as portraits, conveying a surreal perspective on each artist. They were included in a group exhibition in the hamlet of Montegemoli and were on display there through  June 2015.
